Choregrapher
Althea Palombi Corlett was born in Malta and trained under the direction of Olivia Dow School of Russian Ballet. In 2008-2009 she continued her training with Hope Garden Ballet -Vaganova School in Washington DC. She read a BA in Theatre and Media Communication at the University of Malta between 2009-2012 while also reading for a Senior Ballet Teacher.
She soon after moved to Germany to audition and perform in various theaters. For the winter season of 2016-2017, Althea was honored to make part of the Benvenuto Cellini cast, the work explored a contemporary adaptation of the opera directed by Laura Scozzi and performed at the Nurnberg Opera House.
Her most recent work in April 2018 took her to Vienna, where she co-choreographed and performed SPARK for a Peace Festival named 'Peace Starts with Me' produced by Simon Kinney, a 10,000 audience filled the Vienna State Hall.
She is currently a dance teacher at Malta Visual and Performing Arts School, while continuing to train and enjoys collaborating in various local projects.
